River Falls area residents awoke to a blanket of white stuff Sunday morning. Rain changed to snow overnight Saturday, dropping .33/inch worth of precipitation in the form of 2-plus inches of slushy snow. Sunday's high temperature of 44 degrees made most of it disappear.
