Letter: We’re still unable to buy local
Shop local! Here we go again. A few years ago aluminum windows were chosen for the new ambulance building. There was at least one letter to the editor from a disappointed Andersen employee back then. A few years ago aluminum windows were chosen for the new ambulance building. There was at least one letter to the editor from a disappointed Andersen employee back then. I don’t recall if any response was ever given but fast forward to 2009.
I drove by the new City Hall the other day and to my surprise, Pella windows! The city fathers apparently decided to go with a window company from Iowa.
What a slap in the face to the 171 active Andersen Corporation employees living in River Falls along with the 60 retirees who believe in supporting local economies.
Shameful!
