Cold wipes out activities again
For the second straight day, cold weather has forced the cancellation of school in River Falls and the postponement of all Wildcat sporting events scheduled for tonight (Friday).By: Bob Burrows, River Falls Journal
For the second straight day, cold weather has forced the cancellation of school in River Falls and the postponement of all Wildcat sporting events scheduled for tonight (Friday).
Both the boys’ home basketball game against Rice Lake, and the girls’ basketball game in Rice Lake, have been postponed and will be made up at a later date.
Thursday’s cold weather wiped out the Wildcat hockey game against Amery and the boys’ swimmers meet at Menomonie. The swim meet has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 27, at 6:30 p.m. in Menomonie. No make-up date has been announced for the hockey or basketball games.
