Car hits side of Walgreens

Kay Wilson, River Falls, believes her brakes gave out as she came into a parking slot at Walgreens on North Main Street just before 9 a.m. Friday.
The result was her 1999 Volkswagon Bug smacked into the south side wall. Wilson, who was just coming from church, said her airbag went off and she wasn't seriously hurt. The building sustained very minor damage in the collision. Wilson expressed her appreciation to Walgreens clerks who came running outside to make sure she was OK. Her car was later towed. Police are working on an accident report.
