Jean Zimmerman says she can't start healing until there is justice for her daughter.
The 21-year-old student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison was killed in her apartment last April.
Her mother says the streets around that apartment building are so busy she can't understand how no one saw the suspect.
Madison police say they have a theory on the case, but they're keeping that theory to themselves to avoid spoiling the investigation.
Jean Zimmerman lives in Marshfield. She was interviewed by a Madison newspaper.
