Weston couple pleads not guilty in death of daughter
A couple from Weston has pleaded not guilty in connection with the death of their 11-year-old daughter.
A couple from Weston has pleaded not guilty in connection with the death of their 11-year-old daughter.
Dale and Leilani Neumann are charged with second-degree reckless homicide after their daughter died of untreated diabetes.
The Neumanns say they didn't think their daughter would die, and they prayed for her healing, but didn't take her to a doctor for treatment.
The two could get 25 years in prison if they're convicted.
