Human remains found inside burnt car in Town of Trenton
Human remains were found Saturday morning inside a burned out car in Trenton Township five miles southwest of Ellsworth.
Human remains were found Saturday morning inside a burned out car in Trenton Township five miles southwest of Ellsworth.
Pierce County Sheriff's deputies investigated the report of the burnt car which was spotted at N3530, 840th St in Trenton Township. Officers arrived and located the vehicle in an abandoned farm yard. The fire reportedly occurred overnight and when investigators checked the interior of the car the human remains were found.
The remains were removed from the vehicle and transported to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office in St. Paul for autopsy and identification. The case is still under investigation.
