Gunman robs Ellsworth SA early Wednesday
At approximately 3:15 a.m., the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department’s dispatch center received a report of a robbery at the SuperAmerica store, 176 W. Main St. in the village of Ellsworth.
An Ellsworth business was robbed by a gunman early Wednesday morning.
At approximately 3:15 a.m., the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department’s dispatch center received a report of a robbery at the SuperAmerica store, 176 W. Main St. in the village of Ellsworth, according to information from the Ellsworth Police Department.
A lone suspect reportedly entered the store, displayed a handgun to the clerk and requested money. The suspect then fled the store with an undetermined amount of money.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately five-feet-three-inches to five-feet-five-inches in height. He was wearing a Carhartt-type nutmeg-colored hooded three-quarters length jacket and blue jeans. A blue or black bandana covered his facial area and he wore green-colored rubber dishwashing gloves on his hands.
The semi-automatic handgun used was dark in color.
