Woman killed in Tuesday morning crash

A woman was killed this morning in a two-car crash near the intersection of County Rd. I and West Shore Dr. in the Bass Lake area south of Somerset.

St. Croix County Chief Deputy Scott Knudson said the name of the victim was being withheld pending notification of relatives.

The accident occurred about 8 a.m. It marked the seventh fatal on county roadways this year compared with six all of 2010.
