New owners of Crystal Cave
SPRING VALLEY -- It was announced recently that Blaze and Jean Cunningham have sold the Crystal Cave to Eric and Kristen McMaster of Minneapolis.
It was announced recently that Blaze and Jean Cunningham have sold Crystal Cave to Eric and Kristen McMaster of Minneapolis.
The Cunninghams said they were looking for an owner with a good business sense, who had a real feel for caves and understands conservation issues.
They say they found all that and more with the McMasters. The couple shares an interest in caving, he proposed in a cave, and their honeymoon was in a West Virginia cave.
Jean said she and Blaze will still be running the business, while Shawna Fritz, store manager, will run the store when the tourist season opens in May.
