And Green Bay's sloppy play continued, as they committed 13 penalties for 140 yards to just 40 yards on six flags for Detroit.

Still, it was a big win for the Packers, as they improved to 3-2, and they won their 18th straight game over the Lions in Wisconsin.

Donald Driver broke Sterling Sharpe's career Packer receiving record of 595 receptions, with seven catches for 107 yards.

Rodgers threw a pair of touchdown passes to James Jones and John Kuhn. Mason Crosby kicked four field goals and his last represented the game's only scoring in the second half.

Ryan Grant ran for 90 yards, as the Packer offense churned out 435 total yards to just 149 for the Lions.

The Green Bay defense had three interceptions, and Clay Matthews had two of the Packers’ five sacks.

Detroit fell to 1-5, as they were shut out for the first time against Green Bay since 1946.

The Packers will play at Cleveland next Sunday.

Packers' receiver Jordy Nelson bruised a knee, but coach Mike McCarthy said X-rays were negative.

Rookie defensive lineman B.J. Raji reaggravated a bad ankle, but he was removed as a coach's decision and not for medical reasons.

Lions' backup quarterback Daunte Culpepper left in the third quarter with an injured hamstring, and third-stringer Drew Stanton threw for 57 yards and two interceptions.
