WI DNR: PUBLIC NOTICE - REQUEST FOR BIDS

Department of Natural Resources

Sealed bids will be received by the State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources located at 1300 West Clairemont Avenue, Eau Claire, Wisconsin 54701, for buildings and other property situated at the following place (see below):

The property for sale is listed as follows:

1. One story residence, T.27N., R.20W., Section 14, Town of Clifton, Pierce County, WI - Fire #W12638

To include the following:

* Wooden frame structure, copper plumbing & wiring

* Lenox pulse furnace, duct work & wood burner

* 50 gallon hot water heater, bathroom fixtures

* Kitchen cabinets, sink, range hood

* Anderson sliding glass doors, windows

* Interior & exterior windows, doors and more.

2. Cabin and two outbuildings, T.29N., R.19W., Section 18, Town of Hudson W., St. Croix Co., WI - Fire # 927.

Bids may be made on one or more items. Preference will be given to removal of the entire structures. All bidders are required to enclose 10% (ten percent) of the total bid at the time the bid is submitted in the form of cash, certified check, postal money order, or bank draft. The State of Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Funds deposited with bids will be returned to unsuccessful bidders. Bids are understood to be irrevocable offers for a period of 14 days after the time set for the opening. If buildings are to be removed from the site, state sales tax will be charged to the successful bidder.

The structures will be open for inspection on Saturday, December 13th from 10:00 a.m. to noon for the St. Croix Co. site and noon to 2:00 p.m. for the Pierce County site.

Bids will be publicly opened at the WI Department of Natural Resources at 1300 West Clairemont Avenue, Eau Claire, WI 54701 on December 19, 2008 at 10:30 a.m.
