Since 1970, January has been designated as National Blood Donor Month. This year, the Red Cross commends all blood donors for helping to ensure a stable blood supply for patients in need, both locally and across the country.
The blood supply is particularly vulnerable during the winter months due to inclement weather, seasonal illness and busy holiday schedules. Make an appointment today to give blood and help ensure a stable blood supply.
