A 68-year-old Maplewood, Minn., man was transported by Red Wing Fire Department ambulance to Fairview Red Wing Hospital Sunday afternoon after his motorcycle collided with a deer near the Red Wing Airport.
Samuel A. Mackenzie reportedly complained of arm pain after his westbound motorcycle struck a deer on Hwy. 35, just west of CTH C in the town of Trenton about 2 p.m.
Ellsworth firefighters and Hager City First Responders assisted Pierce sheriff's deputies at the scene.
