Maiden Rock Summerfest set for June 19

MAIDEN ROCK—Maiden Rock will hold its annual Summerfest from 9 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, June 19.
The action starts at 9 a.m. with Sand Mine tours leaving from the Village Park.
Two hours later, festivities begin at the park, featuring children’s games, a moonwalk, food tents, a silent auction and Maiden Rock Collectible Pottery. The Volunteer Fireman’s beer tent will be open all day as well.
The Grand Parade starts at 2 p.m., and will run south along Hwy. 35. At 3 p.m., “The Cowboy Wranglers” will perform at the Park Pavilion, with “Stiletto” taking the stage at 6 p.m.
Summerfest buttons are $1 with two $50 cash prizes and can be purchased at the following businesses: Ole’s Bar, Lakeside Bar, Park Service Gas, Old Man River Pizza Pub, Swan Song Gallery and the Maiden Rock Area Community Association (MRACA).
