Ellsworth woman transported to hospital after multi-vehicle accident
An Ellsworth woman was transported to River Falls Area Hospital after being involved in a multi-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon.
An Ellsworth woman was transported to River Falls Area Hospital after being involved in a multi-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon.
Norma Taplin, 75, was northbound on State Highway 65, slowing down to a stop at the construction zone between 770th Ave. and 920th St. when she was rear-ended by Nicole Kasbab, 20, Somerset, at 1:42 p.m., according to the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.
Taplin was transported to River Falls Area Hospital by River Falls Ambulance. A hospital spokesperson said she was treated and released.
The Sheriff’s Department was also assisted on scene by the River Falls Police and Fire Departments.
