A five-year-old boy was killed Sunday when his sled went onto a road near Arcadia, and he was struck by a hit-and-run driver. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.

Trempealeau County sheriff’s deputies and police from Arcadia, Blair and Galesville searched for the hit-and-run driver, and he was eventually found and arrested.
Other details were not immediately released.
