PUBLIC NOTICE

UWRF Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Open Forum

Wednesday, February 27, 11:00 am, #232 Wind River Room, University Center on the UW-River Falls Campus

Thanks to a FEMA pre-disaster mitigation planning grant, a local planning team is working with URS Corporation to update the Hazard Mitigation Plan for UWRF. This project will continue to guide the University towards greater disaster resistance, which contributes to a more sustainable University community.  The updated Hazard Mitigation Plan will be prepared to meet FEMA requirements in order for the University to be eligible for funding and technical assistance from state and federal hazard mitigation programs. All members of the River Falls Community are invited to attend and provide input during the next meeting between the local planning team and URS corporation.
