Chamber names next CEO

The River Falls Chamber of Commerce and Tourism selected Chris Blasius as its next CEO.
An e-mail announcement from River Falls Chamber Board President Scott Morrissette the afternoon of Friday, Feb. 15 announces the organization has chosen Chris Blasius as its chief executive officer.
Many know her as a longtime employee of the River Falls Municipal Utility Department, where she works as the administration and communication coordinator.
Blasius is an active member of the Chamber, chaired the event committee that organizes the Halloween-themed Business Expo for the past two years and has been a main organizer of the local Relay for Life.
The message says Blasius’ first day on the job will be March 4.
