Students meet city officials
Last month River Falls city officials hosted an educational evening at City Hall to introduce Renaissance Academy students to the various professions involved in running a community like River Falls.

Last month River Falls city officials hosted an educational evening at City Hall to introduce Renaissance Academy students to the various professions involved in running a community like River Falls.
The students participated in a mock City Council meeting debating whether to allow chickens to reside within city limits.
Chris Blasius, River Falls Municipal Utilities administrator, hosted the evening. Additional presenters from the city included Mayor Dan Toland, Finance Director Julie Bergstrom, Engineer Reid Wronski, and Planning and Development Director Buddy Lucero.
