Choirs present Haiti benefit

River Falls Church Choirs and the Community Choir presents the 10th annual “It Takes a Village” concert 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at Ezekiel Lutheran Church, 202 S. Second St., to benefit students and teachers of the school in Ganthier, Haiti.

River Falls Church Choirs and the Community Choir presents the 10th annual “It Takes a Village” concert 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at Ezekiel Lutheran Church, 202 S. Second St., to benefit students and teachers of the school in Ganthier, Haiti.

A dessert reception follows the concert. Each choir will present two numbers with Peter Dulak, choir director at Ellsworth High School, leading the 100-plus voices in two final songs.

Project director Curt Larson will give an update on the school project in Ganthier, Haiti. A free will offering will be taken with all proceeds going to support the students and teachers of the school.

The previous nine concerts have raised $45,978, an invaluable amount for the project.
