Local crooners offer Valentine serenades
The harmony and chorus singing groups, Croix Chordsmen and Vallee de Croix Sweet Adelines, dispatch its members in quartets each year to deliver singing Valentines on Thursday, Feb. 14, to sweethearts throughout western Wisconsin and the St. Croix Valley.
The harmony and chorus singing groups, Croix Chordsmen and Vallee de Croix Sweet Adelines, dispatch its members in quartets each year to deliver singing Valentines on Thursday, Feb. 14, to sweethearts throughout western Wisconsin and the St. Croix Valley.
For $40, the quartets travel to the office, classroom, restaurant, home, retirement center or party to perform a serenade and present the honored person with a rose, box of candy, personalized card and photo of the event. The groups also perform over the phone for loved ones who may be far away.
