Weather delays trash collection
Advanced Disposal, formerly Veolia Environmental Services, announced early the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 29, that trash trucks would not run due to icy side streets, neighborhoods and parking lots. Service will resume Wednesday, Jan. 30, and will run one day behind for the week.

River Falls' trash service announced weather-related pickup delays for the week on Tuesday, Jan. 29.

A notice from the company says the decision was made, "for the safety of our drivers and the general public."
