RFAH welcomes first baby of the new year

River Falls Area Hospital welcomed the first baby of 2013 at 3:18 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan, 1. Makenzie Fairchild weighed eight pounds, 15 ounces, and was 20 inches long. She is the first child for Branda Kolve and Adam Fairchild of River Falls. Little Makenzie was delivered by Dr. Greg Goblirsch and RN, Ellen Johnson. The family received a goody bag full of items such as a baby blanket, $50 chamber checks, layette items and more.
