Special Joint Meeting Minutes

November 29, 2012

The special scheduled meeting of the River Falls Board of Education and the Community Education Advisory Council was called to order on Thursday, November 29, 2012, at 6:02 p.m. by President Stacy Johnson Myers in the River Falls District Office conference room, 852 E Division Street. It was ascertained that notice of the meeting had been properly posted at the appointed locations, published in the River Falls Journal, and announcements sent to WEVR Radio Station, St. Paul Pioneer Press, and the Eau Claire Leader Telegram.

PRESENT

Board of Education President Stacy Johnson Myers, Treasurer Manville Kenney, and Clerk Barbara Kolpin were present. Also present were Community Education Coordinator Monique Squire, District Volunteer Coordinator Tara Albores, Community Ed Secretary Lauren Brathol, and Community Ed Advisory Council members Sherry Soehlig, Amy Theisen, Pete Morsch, Sid Young, Cindi Danke, Carole Mottaz, Samantha Jensen, Dan Torrez, and Don Richards.

Due to a lack of a Board of Education quorum, Kenney moved to adjourn, seconded by Kolpin. Motion carried 3-0.

ADJOURNMENT

President Johnson Myers declared the meeting adjourned at 6:03 p.m.
