Here's a gift for parents - Kids Day Out at UW-RF Dec. 9
The UW-River Falls Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is hosting their third annual Kid’s Day Out on Sunday, Dec. 9 from noon-3 p.m.
The UW-River Falls Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is hosting their third annual Kid’s Day Out on Sunday, Dec. 9 from noon-3 p.m.
Parents from the River Falls community are invited to drop their kids off at the Karges Center where Falcon student-athletes will entertain the kids for the afternoon with games, crafts and a movie while parents can complete holiday shopping.
Activities include basketball, floor hockey, movies and holiday card making. Snacks will also be provided. There is no cost to attend.
Janae Baron, the president of SAAC said it is important for student-athletes to get involved in the community.
“The River Falls community has been so good in supporting Falcon athletics, so this is our chance to give back and have fun with the kids,” said Baron.
