Local girl qualifies for nationals

River Falls resident Calla Dexheimer, participated in the USA Track and Field Minnesota Association’s Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 10 in Apple Valley, Minn.

    River Falls resident Calla Dexheimer, participated in the USA Track and Field Minnesota Association’s Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships on Saturday, Nov. 10 in Apple Valley, Minn. Dexheimer, a Meyer Middle School 6th grader, finished 4th in the 3,000 meter race with a personal best time of 12 minutes, 34 seconds. She also qualified for the USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championship held in early December in Albuquerque, N.M. She is the daughter of Jill and Mike Dexheimer. Submitted photo
