Six Wildcats make All-BRC soccer

Seniors Tanner Heinselman and Zach Ambur lead a contingent of six Wildcats named to 2012 All-Big Rivers Conference Boys’ Soccer teams.
Heinselman, a midfielder, and Ambur, a defender were both named to the All-BRC first team for the second straight season.
Junior defender Robbie Waldon was named to the second team while junior defender Evan Schumacher, senior forward Griffin Lacek and senior midfielder Martin Walker all received honorable mention. Waldon and Walker also earned honorable mention to the 2011 all-conference team.
BRC champion Eau Claire Memorial led all selections with nine players named to all-conference teams, including four to the 11-player first team. Hudson had six players honored, including BRC Player of the Year Rocky Harmon.
Eau Claire Memorial’s David Kite was named the conference’s Coach of the Year.
The Wildcats finished third in the BRC standings with a record of 7-5-0. Overall, they finished the 2012 season with a mark of 14-7-1.
