Marching band captures state title
River Falls High School Marching Wildcats claimed another first-place ranking in the AAA competition held at UW Whitewater Saturday, Oct. 13, which they followed with a winners’ ride through town on a fire truck. The band delivered a winning performance despite being moved into the field house because of inclement weather.
River Falls High School Marching Wildcats claimed another first-place ranking in the AAA competition held at UW Whitewater Saturday, Oct. 13, which they followed with a winners’ ride through town on a fire truck. The band delivered a winning performance despite being moved into the field house because of inclement weather.
Along with the overall championship, the ensemble also caption awards in percussion, color guard, visual performance. The instrumental music staff and the booster organization thanks the parents and community for their overwhelming support of the program.
The Marching Wildcats’ next performance will be in St. Louis, MO., at the Bands of America regional competition.
