Letter: What possible rationale could induce you to vote for Barack Obama?

What motivates a person to do anything? I suppose it could be the need for security, status, riches or even popularity. That list is long.
Lately, however, I have been wondering just why a potential voter would sign on to four more years of Barack Obama.
The writings of men such as Patrick Henry are filled with reasonable, prudent, and wise reasons to understand why Romney/Ryan will serve the needs of this country. In addition, they would fulfill what many understand to be the dream and promise of the United States.
In Henry’s speech to the Virginia House of Burgesses in 1775 he stated: “I have but one lamp by which my feet are guided, and that is the lamp of experience. I know of no way of judging of the future but by the past.”
Consider this: Almost all the Muslim world is now rioting against America with the present president bowing and offering olive branches.
An outstanding diplomat and former Navy Seal died. (No one died at Watergate.) This same “leader” spent several days sugarcoating and telling “stretchers” (Remember studying Huck Finn?) about the cause.
Former victims of the Soviet regime in Eastern Europe have been let down repeatedly by this administration.
Domestically, our national debt soars out of space. Executive degrees bypassing Congress increase.
Examples can be found in orders for amnesty for illegal immigrants and undermining a bipartisan effort to keep the work requirement in the welfare system.
This list could be expanded almost daily during the years of Barack Obama.
So, my question: What is it that the fans of Obama want in their lives, and in their children’s and grandchildren’s lives?
