Band earns two firsts
Over the weekend the River Falls High School Marching Wildcats took first place at both the DC Everest and Merrill Invitational Marching Band competitions.
Over the weekend the River Falls High School Marching Wildcats took first place at both the DC Everest and Merrill Invitational Marching Band competitions. Along with overall first place ratings at both shows, the band took caption awards for Best Color Guard, Best Percussion, Best Visual Performance and Best Musical Performance. The marching Wildcats continue their season at Chippewa Falls on Saturday, Oct. 6 and Menomonie on Sunday, Oct. 7. State competition will be Saturday, Oct.13 in Whitewater.
