Long-time River Falls resident and local author Dan Woll is scheduled to speak at New Richmond Library, 155 East 1st Street, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22. Woll will be reading from his book “Death on Cache Lake,” which Woll co-authored in December 2011 with the late John Lyon.
The book is set in the tumultuous days of 1970 as the University of Wisconsin anti-war movement imploded after a deadly campus bombing, Death on Cache Lake takes the reader on a dark odyssey through the lake wilds of Ontario, and the woods and small towns of Wisconsin. The story is a tale of political intrigue and conspiracy that will captivate history buffs who share the authors’ fascination with American crimes that seem solvable but remain mysteries.
“Death on Cache Lake” is available in print and eBook format from Amazon, Barnes & Noble and iTunes. Copies are also available at Chapter 2 Books in Hudson.
