Kathleen 'Kay' Krauth, 82
Kay passed away June 24, 2012, in the compassionate care of Hospice of North Idaho. She was interred in Greenwood Cemetery, River Falls.
Kathleen "Kay" W. Krauth was born June 5, 1930, in River Falls, Wis., to Winnie (Nicholson) and Sherman Krauth. She was a student at the University of Wisconsin in River Falls. She later relocated to California and became accomplished in the field of printing. She worked for several large and independent concerns, specializing in close register offset printing.
In 1967, Kay moved to Tulsa, Okla., and after 28 years of service, she retired from American Airlines in publications. In 1999, Kay then relocated to Montana and still later, in 2003, she found her niche in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho.
She was a member of Eastern Star, the Boston Avenue Methodist Church, and Fraternal Order of Eagles in Hayden, Idaho. She enjoyed music, fishing, traveling, time out with her many friends, and, of course, her kitties.
Kay passed away June 24, 2012, in the compassionate care of Hospice of North Idaho. She was interred in Greenwood Cemetery, River Falls.
Arrangements were made by Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d' Alene, Idaho.
Survivors include her brother, Sherman Krauth; cousin Marguerite Eastlick; nephews Sherman Krauth and Rodney Krauth; seven great-nieces and -nephews, and one great-great-nephew.
A celebration of Kay's life will be held at 1 p.m. Sept. 15 at Eagles Lodge, 1520 W. Wyoming Ave, Hayden, Idaho.
