Church helps with big back-to-school need

The River Falls United Methodist Church awarded its annual scholarships funded by church-member donations, to 20 young people with a monetary gift toward college.

    The scholarships average about $1,000 depending on whether the student is a college freshman or upperclassman, and how involved they are with the church.
