Pierce County fair draws entrants, animals, onlookers
The 129th Pierce County Fair – billed this year as the “four best days of summer,” ran July 9-12 – ended Sunday after hosting thousands of visitors, hundreds of exhibitors and competitors and dozens of different kinds of animals.
The 129th Pierce County Fair – billed this year as the “four best days of summer,” ran July 9-12 – ended Sunday after hosting thousands of visitors, hundreds of exhibitors and competitors and dozens of different kinds of animals.
Good weather held for all days of the fair that included contests of goods, showmanship, animal handling and stock quality, the popular midway and all kinds of food on a stick.
The 2013 Pierce County Fair happens Aug. 8-11.
