The Kinni Off Road Cyclists club is hosting the Border Crossing races that will be happening Sunday, August 12, at 9:00 a.m. The Border Crossing races will take place on the trails of the Whitetail Ridge Corporate Park.

All age groups are welcome for the event. There will be children as young as five years-old to adults, ages 65 or 70, Nick Caliva, president of KORC said.

The races are promoting and raising money for the River Falls Food Shelf. For every $1 that KORC raises, it turns into $9 of food for the food shelf. “This is a pretty big deal to us,” Caliva said.

There will be a pre-ride happening on Saturday, August 11, from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. This is important part of the event for the cyclists so they can familiarize themselves with the course, Caliva said.
