Bosses don’t think much of swearing at work

The Chicago area, which includes Kenosha County, has the nation’s third-highest percentage of employees who swear on the job. More than half the people in in that market say they’ve done so.
In the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metro – which extends into western Wisconsin – half of workers say they swear at work. Milwaukee did not make the Top 10, which supposedly means the language is cleaner at their workplaces.
Not surprisingly, employees in politically-high strung Washington D.C. swear the most. Nationally, 51% of the 3,800 workers surveyed said they cuss at the office.
And of those, half swear at their bosses. One-in-four bosses say they’ve cussed out an employee, but only 7% of workers say they do it in front of clients.
Over half of men say they swear at work, and so do 47% of women. Besides the employees, 2,000 hiring managers were also interviewed in the survey.
