Man jumps from moving car to end argument

He was fighting with his girlfriend and said he was tired of all the bickering. That’s why a 34-year-old Madison man decided to get out of the car.

The man was apparently intoxicated because he didn’t wait for the car to stop. Madison police say he slammed his head on the pavement while he was tumbling.

He’s now in a Madison hospital with bleeding on his brain. The injury was reported at a little after 1 a.m. July 17, in the 3200 block of East Washington Avenue.

The couple had apparently spent most of the night arguing about making a move to another state. They were riding in the back of a friend’s car when the victim opened the door and got out with the car still in motion.
