UPDATE: RF Police still asking for public's help in murder investigation

Police continue to ask for the public's assistance in its search for a laptop computer and computer bag believed to be Aaron Schaffhausen’s. Schaffhausen has been charged with the murders of his three daughters in River Falls Tuesday, July 10. These items may have been ditched along the road by Schaffhausen before he turned himself in. Items in question are a Sony VAIO laptop and a Targus laptop bag.

Police continue to ask for the public's assistance in their search for a laptop computer and computer bag believed to be Aaron Schaffhausen’s. Schaffhausen has been charged with the murders of his three daughters in River Falls Tuesday, July 10. These items may have been ditched along the road by Schaffhausen before he turned himself in. Items in question are a Sony VAIO laptop and a Targus laptop bag

These items may be found along the side of the road or in a ditch.

Schaffhausen may have traveled using roads leading east or north of the 2790 Morningside Avenue address to include as far away as Baldwin.

At the time he was driving a metallic blue 2012 Chevrolet Cruze vehicle, believed to be a rental, with a California license plate.

Should any citizen discover these items, they can contact the River Falls Police Department immediately at 715-425-0909.

Police are also asking any citizen who may have seen a vehicle matching this description between 1:30 and 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, to contact the River Falls Police Department at the same phone number.

A memorial servive for the Schaffhausen family will be held from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, at KilKarney Hills Golf Club, 163 Radio Road, town of Troy. Visitation will also be at the same time at Kilkarney.
