Letter: Please wake up: Reject political lies, posturing

Is anyone out there as tired as I am of the hypocrisy, lies and B.S. that we have been fed by both political parties and reported by the media this past week?

Is anyone out there as tired as I am of the hypocrisy, lies and B.S. that we have been fed by both political parties and reported by the media this past week?

First of course is the Supreme Court ruling on the Affordable Care Act. (I refuse to use the asinine term, "ObamaCare")

The party of NO is standing up on their soapboxes decrying, "Repeal, Repeal!" when the fact is that party is celebrating with its bed partners, the insurance industry, on the new pool of 30 million customers that this law brings in.

Very similar to George W's giveaway to big drug companies with Medicare Plan B. Quit lying to the American people!

Check out the Kaiser Family Foundation for the facts at www.kff.org.

Then we have the amazing "bipartisan effort" to sign the Highway funding/Student loan bill.

This thing was DOA for months because it wasn't "paid for" (recall the damn foolishness about raising the debt limit and the subsequent downgrading of our credit?)

Well, folks, we don't need to pay for it now, it's an election year! Oh yeah, and that Keystone pipeline provision we saw the Republicans fighting for…they dropped the thing.

Bottom line: We need to move forward in this country. We have wasted nearly four years by Greed, Obstructionism and Privatization (GOP).

You FOX- watching fools, wake up and educate yourselves. You MSNBC junkies, expand your horizons as well.

I never thought I would say it but, I do believe we really need a calculated purge of incumbents in Congress.

Please, fellow citizens of the USA, seek the truth and go into the polling booth this fall with the knowledge to cast a ballot that truly is in your best interest.

If you get the facts, your decision should be very clear.
