On the Job: Jacqueline West
Jacqueline West, 1998 River Falls High School graduate, will be releasing the third book in her New York Times best-selling series for young readers. The Books of Elsewhere, Volume 3: The Second Spy (published by Dial/Penguin) will be available in bookstores and online starting Thursday, July 5. A book release party with readings, an author talk, and games, will be held at the Red Balloon Bookstore at 891 Grand Avenue in St. Paul on Friday, July 13 at 7 p.m.

West will also be signing and selling books at the Anderson Center Summer Celebration of the Arts in Red Wing, Minnesota on Saturday, July 7.
West is the author of The Books of Elsewhere, Volume 1: The Shadows and The Books of Elsewhere, Volume 2: Spellbound, as well as poetry, short stories and non-fiction.
