Are you looking to donate to a cause that’s 100% local, immediate and practical?

There are many worthy causes to pick from, but it seems as if you couldn’t go wrong by supporting the newly formed FORWARD Foundation.

The independent, nonprofit FORWARD was set up to give outside educational support to the River Falls School District that goes beyond general fund tax dollars.

Teachers with unique and stimulating educational projects can apply for grants from FORWARD. Those applications are screened. Grants are awarded based on worthiness and what the foundation can afford.

The above list is some examples of the first batch of FORWARD grants to be awarded. More will follow as long as the foundation can raise and bank donations.

Contributing to FORWARD means a contribution that elevates the educational quality of life in River Falls.

Your contributions are tax deductible. You can mail a check to The FORWARD Foundation/P.O. Box 183/River Falls, WI 54022.

To opt for an automatic deduction plan, go to the foundation’s website at www.forward.org and click on “Donate.”
