After serving six years in prison for keeping a housekeeper in virtual slavery, Jefferson Calimlin Senior and his wife Elnora have been deported.
They served federal sentences for their convictions on human trafficking charges after bringing a woman from the Philippines to Brookfield and forcing her to work from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., 365 days a year, for 19 years.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency returned the Calimlins to their native Philippines.
