The Summer Concert Series is in its second week and off to a great start. The concert on Tuesday, June 19 was moved indoors to the Falcon’s Nest in the University Center at UW-River Falls because of the possibility of storms and the extremely warm weather.

The Falcon’s Nest was packed with no open tables and spectators climbing to the second level to view the concert upstairs. The Tommy Bentz Band performed blues and rock songs for two hours Tuesday night and were well received by the audience.

The guys from the band are all local including Brickhouse Music owner, Tommy Bentz. The Summer Concert Series will be on Tuesdays starting at 7 p.m. during June, July and August at the Melvin Wall Amphitheatre.

Next Tuesday, June 26, the Chris Silver Band will be playing at the Amphitheatre. And on Tuesday, July 3 there will be a concert featuring 'kids from Wisconsin' as the performers that night.
