Children of Faith Preschool 10th anniversary celebration; farewell to Beth Schmeling
Faith Lutheran Church of River Falls will celebrate the 10th anniversary of Children of Faith Preschool on Sunday, June 24. Festivities will include a service of thanksgiving at 9:30 a.m., with games, fellowship and picnic lunch to follow as well as a slide show of the children who have attended the preschool over the years.

Festivities will include a service of thanksgiving at 9:30 a.m., with games, fellowship and picnic lunch to follow as well as a slide show of the children who have attended the preschool over the years.
Since opening its doors in the fall of 2002 with eight students taught by Beth Schmeling, hundreds of students have been served with a quality preschool education that has included not only A, B, C’s and 1, 2, 3’s but growing in God’s Word.
Events of the day also include saying farewell to Schmeling who will be retiring. Former students and their families are invited to come to say good-bye!
Deborah Weigand, the new director and lead teacher, along with assistant teachers Rachel Sternisha and Ross Collins will begin year 11 in September with classes for three to five year olds. There are still openings available.
