Letter: Don’t let others spoil this resource

Sunday night we brought a wheelbarrow full of sticks and leaves down to the River Falls compost site. It’s a nice benefit to have in the city.

With all the oak trees we have in our yard, we use it at least once a week.

Unfortunately someone misused this benefit by dropping off an old washer, dryer, old navy-blue couch and chairs, and a metal-and-glass table.

I know a lot of people in town would hate to lose this compost site.

Every time we drop off our composting, there are several other vehicles doing the same, or the drivers are picking up the free mulch.

Please get rid of your household waste properly. The compost site is for compost only.

If you see violators, please report them to the City.
