It’s a zoo at the library
A new exhibit, “The Frugal Zoo & Others, Too,” opened on Saturday, June 2 at the River Falls Public Library. The show features the stainless steel and mosaic sculptures of artist, Dale Lewis, pictured above with “Monster Dog,” as well as a wide variety of work by members of the Hastings-Prescott Area Arts Council (HPAAC).
A new exhibit, “The Frugal Zoo & Others, Too,” opened on Saturday, June 2 at the River Falls Public Library. The show features the stainless steel and mosaic sculptures of artist, Dale Lewis, pictured above with “Monster Dog,” as well as a wide variety of work by members of the Hastings-Prescott Area Arts Council (HPAAC).
The show includes large realist pieces by Jennifer Raskob Kranz, many paintings, fused glass, Nuno felting technique fibre pieces, jewelry and more. Two Lewis sculptures are on display outside the library. On the Main Street side of the library near the marquis sign is “Hogzilla;” and a land crab is tucked into the foliage under the covered entrance to the building on the parking lot side.
