As part of the 2012 Town ‘N Country Day June 10, the Foster Community Foundation hosts a Heritage Passport project in which anyone can participate.
People pick up a ‘passport’ from Veteran’s Park 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and visit a variety of River Falls landmarks including the fire hall, city hall, the power plant, falls and other landmarks. Tourists can get their passport stamped at each location then enter a drawing to win Twins Tickets, chamber bucks and local prizes.
Entrants need not be present to win at the 2:30 p.m. drawing that takes place on the site of the future community center on Winter Street, just north of Cascade Street.
Get more information from the River Falls Chamber of Commerce and Tourism by calling 715-425-2533.
