I am a Boy Scout from Troop 459 in River Falls. For my Eagle project, I am pulling two invasive species from Kinnickinnic River Land Trust’s Jackson Preserve.

We are pulling garlic mustard and dame’s rocket, two non-native plants that threaten to overtake native vegetation in this critical natural habitat.

My Boy Scout Troop will be assisting me. I am looking for more volunteers. I would appreciate any assistance you could provide.

We will be working Saturday and Sunday, May 19 and 20 — 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the 19th and from 1-4 p.m. on the 20th.

You can stop by any time during those hours. Lunch will provided for those who come to work on the 19th.

If you are able to come, please RSVP at www.kinniriver.org where there will be directions to the site and other details.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
