Big storms that rolled in over the weekend, cast some River Falls residents into the dark.
Big storms that rolled in over the weekend, cast some River Falls residents into the dark. All were restored with power Saturday evening or Sunday morning accept for one customer on 8th Street who had to have an electrical box restored by an electrician and was reconnected late Monday afternoon with power.
Here is a list of the outages:
• 1004-1038 area of W. Maple Street a tree took a line down and caused the line to burn down at Maple St and Winter Street leaving 9 customers without power.
• N. 8th Street a tree took a line down and left 9 customers without power.
• 600 block of N. Freemont Street lightning took a fuse out on a transformer and left 6 customers without power.
• 500 block of N. Pearl Street lightning took out a fuse on a transformer and left 11 customers without power.
• 400 block of N. Freemont Street a fuse went out do to lightning and left 29 customers without power.
• A transformer at the UWRF College Farm on S Wasson lost a fuse due to lightning.
